After walking away from his career in advertising, Rupert Sanderson went back to college to pursue his true passion, shoemaking. After graduating, he worked for Sergio Rossi and Bruno Magli, renowned family-owned shoe companies who were later bought by larger luxury goods companies. His design philosophy of “less is more” has helped him to focus on what women really do what in shoes – long legs, sex appeal and comfort which accenting their sensual curves and silhouettes.  What some fashionistas may not know about Ruper Sanderson is that he designs all shoes for Karl Lagerfeld’s mainline catwalk collections.

I love love love his newest Spring Summer 2012 collection and picked out some of my top looks for the season.

What do you think? Loving the colors and patterns of the shoes. They all look so unique and carefully made! I also love how he’s not scared to mix and match different patterns, colors and fabrics!!!
